Connect, Collaborate & Contribute
The Institute of Indigenous Knowledge, Cultural Studies and Climate Change (IIKCC) brings together people and institutions interested in understanding, preserving, and applying knowledge to contemporary challenges.
We welcome engagement from researchers, Indigenous knowledge holders, cultural practitioners, students, communities, government institutions, universities, development organizations, and other partners.
Collaborate With Us
IIKCC welcomes partnerships that advance research, knowledge exchange, cultural preservation, climate action, education, and community development.
Collaboration may include joint research, conferences and seminars, community programmes, publications, knowledge documentation, training, and other initiatives aligned with the Institute’s areas of focus.
Research & Academic Engagement
Researchers, academics, and students are encouraged to engage with IIKCC through interdisciplinary research and knowledge exchange.
We are particularly interested in work that connects Indigenous knowledge and cultural studies with contemporary research, environmental sustainability, climate change, community resilience, and development.
Community Engagement
Communities and Indigenous knowledge holders are central to the Institute’s work.
IIKCC seeks to create respectful opportunities for communities to share knowledge, participate in research and documentation, contribute to cultural programmes, and engage in discussions on issues affecting their communities and environments.
We recognize communities not simply as subjects of research, but as custodians, contributors, and partners in knowledge creation.
Students & Emerging Researchers
Students and emerging researchers can engage with IIKCC through academic research, knowledge-sharing activities, seminars, fieldwork, cultural initiatives, and other Institute programmes.
These opportunities provide exposure to interdisciplinary approaches that connect Indigenous knowledge, cultural studies, scientific research, and climate change.
